30 Dec EL VIAJE

El viaje | Site specific work
El Viaje is a group journey to a nearby “island.” The human flows, tourism, colonization, utopia, and the city shape the path. By reversing the usual relationship between travel time and time spent at the destination, El Viaje shifts the focus toward movement itself and the creation of an ephemeral community bound by a shared sensual experience.
El Viaje is a project by Colectivo Utópico,, a group of artists from Argentina, Brazil, and Switzerland. Coming from different disciplines, they work together to question how our North–South societies are shaped by past and present utopias.
For each version in a new territory, Colectivo Utópico, collaborates with a local artist.
